Prosecutors Call Lindsay Clancy’s Lawyer's New Argument 'Laughable' Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer asked a Massachusetts judge to acquit her in the deaths of her three children, weeks after a jury failed to reach a verdict. Clancy returned to Plymouth Superior Court on Tuesday, Sept. 29, for the first time since her trial ended in a mistrial on Sept. 4. Judge William Sullivan did not immediately rule on the request. Prosecutors have not decided whether to seek a second trial.
