A Long Island driver has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash that killed a local volunteer, police announced Thursday, May 28.
Brayan Romero Flores, 24, was cuffed for a two-car wreck that killed 39-year-old Moshe (Moe) Kreindler, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Romero Flores, of Cedarhurst, was charged with second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, second-degree assault, and reckless driving, police said. His arraignment was scheduled for Thursday.
