After years of speculation, Apple has made one of its biggest changes yet to the device that transformed the company.
Apple unveiled its first foldable iPhone, called the iPhone Duo, during its "Surprise and Shine" event Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
The new device opens book-style into a larger display while retaining a smaller exterior screen for use when closed. Apple showed the phone in several configurations, including fully folded, partially opened, and expanded into a tablet-like format.

A New York man dealing drugs on Long Island had enough fentanyl to kill more than 500,000 people before he was arrested, authorities said Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Jemmal Bryan, 42, operated out of his home in Jamaica, Queens, and dealt fentanyl, xylazine, and cocaine across Nassau County, the county district attorney’s office said.

Thomas Lobianco, 26, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was indicted on numerous charges Wednesday for the Monday, Aug. 10 wreck in Nesconset, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Lobianco had just finished an overnight shift at a nearby 7-Eleven, where surveillance video captured him “swaying, stumbling, nearly falling multiple times, and nodding in and out of consciousness,” the DA’s office said.

Teen Selling Weed, Flavored Vapes Out Of Nassau Gas Station Arrested: Police
A Long Island teenager has been arrested for selling weed and flavored vape products from a storefront, police said.
Amritpreet Singh, 18, of Elmont, was busted Tuesday, Sept. 8 for slinging the items from a Valero gas station on Franklin Avenue in Valley Stream, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Officers observed “a large quantity” of flavored vapes, Kratom, and THC products available at the store and arrested Singh around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
