Eleven New Yorkers have been charged in an alleged international immigration fraud scheme that arranged more than 1,000 sham marriages and collected tens of millions of dollars, federal prosecutors said. Two accused shoplifters with cases stretching across North Jersey were arrested after fleeing a Bergen County 7-Eleven with $57.42 worth of merchandise, authorities said.
