Missing Person Found Dead At CT Pond After Search Reports of a missing person in a Connecticut pond ended in tragedy this week.  Searchers with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection were called to Black Pond in Middlefield around 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14.  DEEP’s Environmental Conservation Police searched the area with K9 teams, Connecticut State Police, and the Middlefield Fire Department.
